De Canon R5 Body 45MP is de nieuwste toevoeging aan het Canons spiegelloze R-systeem. De belangrijkste kenmerken zijn IBIS = in Body Stabilisation, 8K Video on Full Frame en 45MP CMOS Sensor. De R-serie maakt gebruik van de nieuwe ontwikkelde R-Bajonett, maar met de adapter kun je ook EF-lenzen gebruiken zonder enige bijsnijdingsfactor. Door de Dataammounts is het produceren van CF-express kaarten nodig voor het filmen. Het heeft ook een SD-kaartslot. De Ibis stabilisatie is niet alleen voor Video maar ook in de fotografie kun je handheld fotograferen als dat voorheen niet mogelijk was. De technische specificaties zijn geweldig.
