The Atomos Ninja Ultra is a 5.2" monitor recorder with 1000 nits brightness . The recording function enables impressive results, with support for up to 8Kp30, 6Kp60 and 4Kp120 in formats such as Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD and now also H.265 (HEVC). In addition, it can record in Apple ProRes RAW at up to 6Kp30. The option to perform H.265 recording and NDI TX simultaneously is impressive. With the dual RAW recording function, the Atomos Ninja Ultra enables simultaneous recording of 4Kp60 ProRes RAW & H.265 for smooth camera-to-cloud workflows (in conjunction with Atomos Connect). Also noteworthy is the SDI Cine innovation, which enables automatic synchronization of file names, timecode and recording triggers from SDI cameras from ARRI, Canon, RED and Sony. The updated AtomOS 11 operating system brings improvements in memory management and responsiveness, accompanied by new features. Impressive flexibility is provided by the ability to share what is seen on the Atomos screen with other Atomos Connect users and devices such as Shogun Connect, iPad, Mac and Apple TV - wirelessly on site or from anywhere in the world with Atomos RemoteView. A set of new tools, such as RecordAssist and PlayBackAssist, enables improved pre-planning of recording and playback. The device also offers advanced monitoring tools with intuitive one-touch operation, such as SegmentPro, EL Zone, ARRI False Color, as well as proven instruments such as Vectorscopes, Zebra, Atomos False Color and Onion Skin. The AtomX expansion port creates an ecosystem of SDI connectivity and NDI workflows via Atomos Connect and AtomX. Atomos Connect acts as a gateway to the cloud and provides access to the benefits of the Atomos Cloud Studio. The form factor of the device corresponds to that of the NinjaV series, which ensures compatibility with all accessories of the new Ninja series. In addition, the Atomos Ninja enables file splitting during longer recording times in order to divide the recording into several files and thus ensure optimal handling. The Atomos Ninja impresses with an extremely bright 5.2-inch 10-bit HDR monitor that has a brightness of 1000 nits.
